MechWarrior 5: Clans
I have fond memories of diving into co-op sessions with my friends in Mechwarrior 4. Together, we embarked on daring hunts against formidable foes, deploying our small yet agile mechs to take on colossal enemies. It was a thrilling experience that required meticulous loadout management, ensuring we had every advantage possible. Against seemingly insurmountable odds, we emerged victorious in matches that felt almost impossible to win. Those intense battles and the sweet taste of victory are etched in my gaming history. MechWarrior 5: Clans returns to a story-driven experience, promising a nostalgic journey for fans.
Titanfall 3?!?
Whispers and speculations are on the rise, igniting hope among gamers that the Titanfall universe may be gearing up for a return, hopefully with a much-anticipated third installment. As excitement brews, fans brace themselves for the potential revival of epic mech warfare and thrilling adventures in a world where titans roam. Take this one with a big grain of salt.
Tomb Raider 1 2 3 Remastered
I mentioned this a few days back – Lara's return to the trilogy that captured my heart the most. Hoping it lives up to the nostalgia.
Unity Engine - Meltdown
We have to talk about Unity.. at least a little bit. Everything is fresh but whatever Unity will do at this Point, every little bit of trust is gone. And we speak about all the trust.
Short summary: Unity announced to charge 20 cent by installation when you have enough of an install base. Just suck it. No exceptions. And by the way, our numbers are “Trust me Bro”. But totally legal, of course. We will not say how we do it.
You think I am overreacting? I am not. On first glance, they wanted to get some part of the free to play market money. But they tried to pull it through a wall. A hard and thiiick wall.
Now, you can´t count on Unity anymore. You can´t throw numbers into the excel sheet, because maybe Unity will try to take it all. And not with some fair plan, maybe they will try to change the rules afterwards. They showed that they are willing to do exactly that.
Right now, everything is subject to change. For the Teams and Projects, I hope they can switch Engines or find other solutions. And we are here for the Art, not for the money.
Godot 4
On a personal note, I've always had a dream of creating my own game, and I dabbled in Unity for a bit. Though I didn't make much headway, it's not a big deal. Now, I'm feeling inspired to reignite that creative spark. Maybe it's time to start a blog series and share my game development journey in Godot.
